If leakage is not confirmed, further work below is unnecessary. 1. There is no trace of diesel fuel in the electrical connector of the CDI control unit → Replace the engine electrical wiring and common rail. 2. There is trace of diesel fuel in the electrical connector of the CDI control unit → Replace the CDI control unit/engine electrical wiring/common rail at the same time.
Target: Vehicles manufactured between (June 4, 2016 - July 29, 2016)
Defect details: If the internal seal of the pressure control valve is damaged due to incorrect assembly of the fuel pressure control valve to the common rail, diesel fuel may leak through the electric pin of the fuel pressure control valve and penetrate into the engine electrical wiring, causing an engine warning light and a lack of vehicle power. In the worst case, diesel fuel may penetrate into the CDI control unit, causing engine starting failure, etc. This is a recall.
