Defect details: The electrical contact point of the internal resistance of the differential gear lock may be corroded due to sulfuric gas generated from the axle oil, and if the internal resistance is damaged, the measured current value will be higher than the actual value. In this case, communication between the differential gear lock control unit and the actuator is blocked, making it impossible to reliably determine the differential gear locking status. As a result, it has been confirmed that both the ESP and ABS systems may not operate because the differential gear is considered locked due to the system structure of the differential gear lock.
