Target: Vehicles manufactured between (December 19, 2019 and February 23, 2022)
Defect details: Due to a software error in the steering wheel hands-off detection system, if the driver is not holding the steering wheel when using the driving assistance system, the hands-off detection system may not detect this and no warning message may be displayed to the driver, the vehicle may continue to drive in the event of a medical emergency (e.g. if the driver is unconscious), and active emergency device assistance functions may not function. In addition, the recall is due to the possibility that automatic emergency calls may not be made, which may delay initial rescue efforts and make medical emergencies more serious (*This may not satisfy Article 89 (Steering System) of the Rules on Performance and Standards of Automobiles and Automobile Parts)
