Fraudulent dealers are currently running their business by putting low prices on online advertisements in order to secure hundreds of thousands of won in high margins, while honest dealers are being driven out one by one due to online price competition. If you find a vehicle you like, the best way to deal with false listings is to have sufficient consultation with your assigned car manager and visit after paying a deposit. In particular, dealers with fake listings are reluctant to take deposits, saying that if the customer wants to transfer the deposit, they demand a very high amount or say that even if the customer doesn’t like the car after seeing it, they will never refund it. They call you saying they’ll sell a 10 million won car for 7 million won, let you take a test drive, and then, when you try to sign the contract, they come up with excuses like the deposit was already received during the test drive, the vehicle can’t be transferred, or it’s a flood-damaged car, and then they try to introduce you to another car. Due to this new scheme, honest dealers are being labeled as unscrupulous for selling a 7 million won car for 10 million won. It's really frustrating to think about where things went wrong. I saw it on TV recently. These days, fake listing dealers spend two or three hours driving around with customers to look at cars, and if the customers don't like any of the cars and decide to leave, they demand 300,000 won as gas money. If the customers don't pay, they threaten, and even go as far as hitting, taking phones, and holding them captive. It's really a dangerous world... One more thing...
