Defect details: If the SRS airbag-related harness is damaged by being pressed against the metal surface inside the steering wheel, the harness may be short-circuited, which may cause the airbag warning light to come on and not operate properly. This recall is due to the possibility that the airbag may be deployed regardless of whether the vehicle crashes or not.
