Defect details: As a result of BMW's own quality investigation, it was confirmed that rivets shorter than the specified length were used when assembling the chamber during the production of brake discs in some vehicle models. In this case, if the fastened rivets fall off over time, etc., and the brake disc and chamber are partially or completely separated, the braking force may not be properly transmitted, resulting in a longer braking distance or a recall due to the possibility that braking may become impossible.
