Defect details: If the screw on the bypass flap cover of the EGR cooler is loosened or separated, noise and odor may occur, and in some cases, surrounding parts (engine cover, rail pressure sensor, etc.) may be damaged. If the rail pressure sensor is damaged, an engine warning light and warning message are displayed and the vehicle switches to safety mode, but in very rare cases, a fire in the engine room cannot be ruled out.
